Incident at Willow Creek

Cover cutout.

The protagonist of Don Hunter’s novel inherits the key to a lockbox containing the official government documents of a prisoner-of-war camp located in the sleepy town of Willow Creek, Alberta during World War II. In keeping with the theme of uncovering information, I created the jacket image by cutting the title out of orange paper and then photographing the shadow it produced on the wall as the edge of the paper was lifted back.
